Measurements

We reviewed the common SI prefixes in the Metric system. The important prefixes we have to know are mega-, kilo-, centi-, milli-, micro-, and nano-.

We also learned what a meniscus is.

Three reasons how an error might occur in an experiment:
1) Physical errors in measuring device
2) "Sloppy" measuring
3) Changing ambient conditions

Absolute Error = measured - accepted
+ means over accepted
- means under accepted
